ABOUT THE FIRM

A South Florida Personal Injury Firm You Can Trust

Whether you’re injured on the job, due to the negligence of another driver, or because a company decided to save a few bucks and put a product on the market with defective parts, you deserve to be compensated for your pain and suffering – and those responsible deserve to be held accountable for their actions. That was The Injury Law Firm of South Florida’s goal when it was founded in South Florida in 1991, and it has remained the centerpiece of the firm’s mission ever since that time.

Our team has over 100 years of combined legal experience, so we’ve handled just about every kind of injury and workers compensation case you can imagine. We also come from diverse legal backgrounds that help us when preparing for cases, counting a former public defender and a lawyer who worked for insurance companies and knows their tactics among our partners.

Jeffrey-Braxton

The firm’s leading trial attorney, Mr. Braxton began his law career working for the big insurance companies that he now often finds himself fighting against. His years defending insurers against personal injury lawsuits not only provided him with invaluable courtroom experience, but also gave him invaluable insight into how injury defenses are built – knowledge he now uses to break down these defenses & help victims. As someone who has literally worked in personal injury for his entire career, Mr. Braxton has personally litigated thousands of cases.

Brooke-Elizabeth-Perez

Ms. Perez has been practicing law in Florida for more than 10 years. For two years, she served as an Orange County public defender, and she brought that knowledge with her when she joined Slootsky, Perez & Braxton, where she is now the lead workers’ compensation trial counsel for the firm. In addition to this focus, Ms. Perez has tried a number of bench & jury cases involving serious auto accidents. In 2003, the Florida Workers’ Advocates named Ms. Perez “Rookie of the Year” for her work protecting workers.

Personal Injury Lawyer Craig Posner

Craig A. Posner was born in Fort Lauderdale Florida and attended the University of Central Florida where he received his BS in Political Science.  Upon graduation, Craig received his law degree from Florida International University College of Law. During his time at Florida International University, Craig had several prominent members of South Florida’s legal field as mentors, gaining vital experience and learning a tremendous amount about the law.

Robert-Stein

Robert Stein has been practicing since 1997. In his role at The Injury Law Firm of South Florida, he focuses on personal injury protection (PIP) cases, wrongful death, and personal injury. As a family man with two sons, Robert Stein’s goal in personal injury cases is both to help you get the fair and just compensation you deserve and to make South Florida safer by encouraging negligent individuals and organizations to change their ways.

Floridians Deserve Justice for Injuries Resulting from Negligence

Martindale-Hubbel Distinguished 2017Far too many people in Florida don’t seek out the compensation they deserve when they are injured because they either don’t know that someone else should be held accountable when they are negligent or they don’t think they can win. This is exactly the mindset that allows big insurance companies and big corporations to get away with hurting the little guy and continuing business as usual.

Depending on the severity of the issue you’re dealing with, it could be something that costs you – both in money and in pain and suffering – for the rest of your life.
